This public space doubles up as a lounge where you can relax during the day and/or evening and enjoy the wonderful view of the Japanese garden.

The annexed open kitchen may be used by guests for refreshments, coffee and tea.

The Expo area is a quiet neighbourhood with beautifully maintained authentic architecture from the 1930’s. The Antwerp Expo halls and ‘De Singel’ a concert and cultural centre for the Arts are both within close proximity. 

The picturesque Middelheim Park with the Middelheim Museum, ‘Vogelzang’ and ‘Den Brandt’ parks are within walking and/or cycling distance. 

There’s a mini convenience store around the corner within walking distance.

The storage of bicycles can be arranged.

With a choice of public transport via tram, bus or shared/bicycle, the city’s historical centre can be easily reached. Ilse and Jan will be more than welcome to help plan your journey.

The Expo area is easily accessible by car from all directions

  • Free parking is available in the nearby streets (please request parking information via the contact page)
  • P+R Olympiade Park and Ride is a 10 minute walk away or 2 stops on tram 6
